Welcome to Ordinary Parent's first giveaway!
I've personally ordered 8 photo books from Shutterfly to date, and when a friend of ours offered to give us a gift card I really wanted to use it for myself. But my wife and I decided to give it away to OrdinaryParent visitors and fans instead. Don't forget to receive double the entries by liking us on FB (current fans automatically entered) and completing the form below. Winner will be notified by email and posted on our site with a first name and last initial.
I vividly remember the moment my wife walked up to me with her positive pregnancy test. It was a wonderful, wonderful day! It was also the beginning of this parenting journey I'm trying to capture on OrdinaryParent.com. Along that journey we took lots of pictures during the pregnancy (including weekly side profile pics at the same spot in our house), and even more after our daughter was born. But the pregnancy seemed to fly by (for me at least, my wife might argue otherwise) :) and so I've already started thinking about the next time around and the photos I want to take. The 2o examples I've provided below have offered me the most inspiration and I hope you find ideas you like and use, too.

When my wife and I went in to the doctor for the ultrasound that would let us know if we were having a boy or a girl, we looked forward to the surprise. I remember the ultrasound tech telling us we would have a girl, and taking several different snapshots of our daughter. Aside from the joys of sharing that news with our family and friends, I also had some photoshop-fun with the pictures they provided us.
